We share your belief that every young person in your school is amazing. We know that when life gets tough, whatever the reason, the time and space to talk about what's going on can help them to feel more positive about themselves and their lives.
We offer three programmes - mentoring, group activities and leadership opportunities.
Mentoring: Our mentors have a youth-work approach, side-by-side with the young person where our agenda is their agenda. This, combined with the confidential nature of our sessions, builds the trust that underpins the programme.
What do schools say?
"Lifespace mentors meet our students "where they're at", building a strong connection so that they can work on what each student needs - that's why it's so effective."
"Lifespace is a critical part of our pastoral care. Their mentors can give the one-to-one time each week that so many of our students need."
Mentoring can support various areas of a young person's life including friendship and social challenges; school-related anxiety or exam stress; social media and bullying; family relations; being a young carer; exploring gender or sexuality; regulating their feelings and having care-experience.
Sessions are usually delivered on the same day/s each week so that your staff can plan ahead. Regular updates and/or meetings make sure that every student we see is getting what they need to make the difference they want.
