Stuart McCaslin - Chairman Stuart joined the Trust in 1999 and became Chairman in 2006. Stuart is a Chartered Company Secretary with a wealth of corporate and commercial experience in public and private companies including being a pension trustee . He is well practised at operating at Board level and with external advisers. He is also a trustee of Bidford Baptist Church. Janet McCutcheon Janet has been a trustee of Lifespace Trust since 2008. Janet has 25 years voluntary work experience including in probation, Samaritans, the Family Planning Clinic, local soup kitchen and being an Auntie to a child in care. Janet has also fostered for 10 years. She started work for the Mustard Tree Project (support work for adults recovering from mental health problems) in 1995 and was Team Leader. Janet trained as a social worker (2004), and in 2008 took up a new post with the local mental health team as Senior Specialist Care Worker where she still works. Katherine Long Katherine has been a trustee since 2009. Katherine has ten 10 years experience in Learning & Development, delivering bespoke intercultural and communication skills training to global clients. Katherine has been an independent coaching consultant since 2003 offering coaching, coach accreditation and supervision to diverse client organisations. Katherine is an EMCC Master Practitioner accredited coach, and qualified coach-mentoring supervisor. Katherine regularly provides one-to-one and team coaching, group facilitation, mediation, training, is a conference speaker and published writer. Malcolm Stoddart Malcolm has been a trustee since 2006. His working life has covered such diverse activities as managing children play schemes, working in unemployment benefit offices to joining the Crown Prosecution Service in 1986, on the financial side. Since 2000 he has been a prosecutor in the local magistrates courts of Warwickshire. Nigel Peace Nigel been a trustee since 2001. He was involved in the Mustard Tree Project from 1997 which provided support work to adults recovering from ill mental health, and became General Manager of the project from 2001 – 2011. Nigel has helped to develop the charity greatly in his time. On a day to day basis, Nigel runs his own private business, Hemming & Peace Funeral Services based in Stratford, Alcester and Henley-in-Arden. Nigel has been involved in fostering through WCC and is a member of the Rotary Club of Stratford-upon-Avon. Chris Spriggs Chris founded Lifespace’s work with young people in 2004, and became a trustee of the charity at this time. Following obtaining a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting & Finance, Chris started working with young people in 1996 in South London. He has been involved in Voluntary Community Sector leadership since 1998, working in schools and colleges across the South Midlands since this time. Chris worked at Warwickshire College as a tutor (2001-2004), completing his teaching qualification and since then has become a certified Master Practitioner & Coach of NLP; an accredited Mediator (Mediation UK); and an accredited Mentor and Sexual Health Educator (both Level 3). Through training, coaching and consultancy Chris works with national charities, Universities and businesses across England to empower young people who are facing disadvantage.
