Our approach to the intervention services we deliver with young people are influenced by a number of important things, including:

- the expertise, skills and professional training of the people within Lifespace

- our desire to keep learning and growing

- being a faith-based project with a strong Christian values base

- the way we are funded by a range of charitable trusts and individuals, as well as recieving service delivery income

- working in the voluntary and community sector means we are not tied to government targets

- we believe working flexibly around people's needs is the best way we can help

- we endeavour to work closely and appropriately with other agencies wherever we can

- our focus on the Every Child Matters (ECM) outcomes framework (from The Children Act 2004)

- we use a specific outcomes-measuring tool devised by City College Norwich to assist us in monitoring and measuring the impact of what we deliver

- our achievement of the Approved Provider Standard (APS) national quality & safety framework since 2005 (from The Mentoring & Befriending Foundation)

- our achievement of the Silver Level standard of the Warwickshire Award for Involvement (WAI)

- our strong track record of working professionally and effectively since Lifespace began in 2004
